While later packages will handle water treatment, distribution, and energy optimisation, Package 1 focuses on the foundation — preparing the site and installing high-capacity seawater intake systems to feed the desalination plant.
This stage ensures stable, clean seawater delivery with minimal environmental disruption, setting the stage for the plant’s operational success.
About Package 1
Package 1 covers all works required to prepare the site and establish the critical intake infrastructure, including:
