The Northwest Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) Power Station will supply 1,200 MW of reliable electricity to Western Australia’s industrial corridor and regional grid. Using advanced combined-cycle technology, the plant achieves up to 60% efficiency, reducing fuel consumption and emissions compared to conventional coal-fired stations.
While Packages 1 and 2 deliver the power generation hardware and efficiency systems, Package 3 completes the final step — connecting the facility to the high-voltage grid and enabling full operational control. This stage ensures the plant can reliably deliver contracted power to industrial clients and utilities, while maintaining compliance with grid stability requirements and safety regulations.
About Package 3
Package 3 covers the engineering, installation, and commissioning of all electrical, control, and safety systems needed for grid connection and plant management:
