Package 1 covers all site preparation and early-stage construction activities, including:
- Land Clearing & Grading – Removal of obstructions, vegetation, and unstable soil along the corridor.
- Earthworks & Embankments – Raising, compacting, and reinforcing the rail bed to withstand heavy axle loads.
- Bridge & Culvert Installation – New water-crossing structures for improved drainage and resilience in flood-prone zones.
- Ballast Laying Preparation – Graded foundation for future rail track installation.
- Geotechnical Stabilisation – Soil reinforcement, retaining walls, and slope protection.
